Sr. Director, Global Health Workforce Program, Clinton Health Access Initiative

Tej is Director of Health Workforce Programs at CHAI, where he oversees programs in 6 countries. His work with CHAI has sent him all across Africa, including 3 years in Liberia working on workforce development. While in Liberia he was also a strategic adviser to Health Minister Bernice Dahn. From 2010 to 2012 he worked in South Africa where he focused on malaria elimination and HIV testing and treatment. He was then relocated to Rwanda for two years where he supported the government in addressing the national shortage of healthcare workers. In addition to this, he has published articles on Health Professional Training and capacity strengthening.
